Languages & Oral Traditions
Uganda is home to many indigenous languages, and oral traditions play a significant role in passing down history and wisdom. BantuFest works to document and promote native languages through storytelling sessions, cultural literature, and language learning programs. We also encourage the sharing of proverbs, folktales, and historical narratives that reflect our people’s values and beliefs. Preserving languages and oral traditions ensures that future generations stay connected to their cultural identity.

BantuFest is a a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation based in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America. Bantu means “people”, all of us united.
