Welcome To BantuFest
BANTUFEST is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America. We are a cultural organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving the rich heritage of East Africa and the wider African community. Our mission is to promote cultural awareness, unity, and appreciation through festivals, events, and programs that highlight the diverse traditions, arts, music, and crafts of the Bantu and other African communities.

Bantu means “people”, all of us united. We use the title ‘BantuFest’ to reflect the character of festive and amazing people from different walks of life, coming together for a great transformative cause, united by culture and arts. We believe that culture is an important part of our identity and plays a vital role in shaping the future. BantuFest works to create a space where people can come together to experience and learn about the beautiful and diverse cultures that make up our nation.
Through our events, workshops, and collaborations with local artists and communities, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and respect for our cultural roots. We also provide a platform for young people to get involved in preserving their traditions while embracing modernity. At BantuFest, we believe that culture has the power to unite, inspire, and bring people closer, creating a brighter and more connected world for future generations.
To promote cultures, improve lives and inspire a generation of individuals that understand, uplift and work together towards a better tomorrow. Through the BantuFest Organization, we hope to be a ray of hope for the many who need it – a place to find refuge when nowhere feels like home.
A society of acceptance, growth and development brought about by kindness and the unity born from it. We believe in the power of lending a hand – because changing a world often starts with changing a life. This is the world we hope to achieve as the BantuFest Organization, one smile at a time.

Founder's Notes
When I had an idea to start a festival that celebrates different arts and cultures here in the US, I could never have predicted how big of an impact it would create. To me, this organisation is my way of celebrating culture and touching as many lives as I can – and you’re all welcome to join me.
Meet Our Team
An organisation is only as strong as the people behind it, which is why BantuFest is comprised of intelligent, hardworking and passionate individuals that work perfectly together to form the ultimate team. With people like them running things, you can rest assured that BantuFest will go places.
