President Museveni imposes total lockdown

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Friday issued fresh directives in the country following a worrying rise in Covid-19 infections and deaths,  some of these measures were used to curb the first wave of the outbreak in Uganda.

Cross-district travel, movement of public and private transport vehicles unless exempted has been banned, These are some of the few measures that HE Museveni imposed to combat the rise of Covid-19 in his country. He also said he will stop the joke of public violation of the health guidelines.

Earlier on Wednesday, a technical fault is said to have cut off the oxygen supply to Covid-19 patients in Mulago National Referral Hospital, leading to the death of several patients at the facility, yesterday the installation of a new oxygen plant at Mulago started it said to capacitate production of over 70000ltrs of oxygen per minute.
